The bigger picture

The following caught my ear this morning during the second reading at Vigils. It is good reminder of our need to pray for perseverance and greater trust in God--through whom all things work together for good (cf. Romans 8:28)--whether or not we can see or understand within present circumstances. -- Br. Francis

The less we connect
the providence of God
with all that happens,
the more we are upset
with the smallest
annoyances in life.
